Hedwig and the Angry Inch

“Ladies and gentlemen… whether you like it or not…

HEDWIG!”

How could we follow the amazing success of the HALLOWEEN OF HORRORS?

It had to be HEDWIG!

Yes, the next Pat’s Film Club show at the Plaza Cinema Truro is the legendary mind-blowing gender-fluid musical extravaganza

HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH

*plus surprise bonuses*
Written, directed by and starring John Cameron Mitchell, this tells the story of Hedwig, a gender-queer punk-rock singer from East Berlin as she tours the U.S. with her band.
In an extraordinary mix of stand-up, rock songs and poignant scenes, she tells her life story and reconnects with the former lover/band-mate who stole her songs.
“The film is both relevant to our times and restorative, a work of rapturous energy and humor that points a way forward. What makes a man a man and a woman a woman, and what radiant possibilities might there be in between?” (Criterion Collection)
This show is in association with o-region and supported by BFI Film Audience Network.
Tickets are on sale now!
